Jane is a Chartered Accountant with 30 years’ financial services advisory experience as a partner in two of the “big 4” accountancy and professional services firms where she advised clients on risk management and regulation and related strategic business change.
In 2016 she co-founded Insuring Women’s Futures, a market-wide, professional programme hosted by the Chartered Insurance Institute to improve women’s and society’s financial resilience. She is the author of The Risks in Life Report Series, a body of work using risk management principles to analyse people’s financial life journeys. This led her to create 6 Moments That Matter, an approach that helps individuals and organisations to identify the steps they can take to secure fairer financial futures.
Jane has a portfolio career, is a regular public speaker and adviser on the 6 Moments That Matter, and sits as a non-executive on various boards and committees.
Jane is the Council’s Finance and Insurance sector lead.
